Ranunculus in my polytunnel a feast for mice?

Hi
Any suggestions to make my ranunculus less tasty to the mice who have built tunnels into my greenhouse I have caught more than 10 and the leaves are being taken off at the ground.

Any ideas?

Can you grow them on benches if in pots? I think mice like that will be a big problem for most plants.

Hi just in view of this I was wondering if anyone has noticed increased mouse activity this year ? We have caught and humanely disposed of 14 mice this winter ! This has never happened before .

I had a lot more than normal last year. I think they have made homes in my compost bins they thought the forced rhubarb was being laid on especially for them. My cat is getting older too.
