Despite fleecing in the polytunnel, the late frost the other week got a few of my crops. The potatoes seem to be recovering but some of the tomatoes still look very sad with curled leaves and brown patches. Question is how long to leave before I pull up and replace them? I have a few plants left from a second (emergency) sewing but they’re still small. Do tomatoes recover from this or should I just replace them now?

They can recover, I’d expect to see new shoots in the next week or so and if you see growth like that they’ll be fine, if not, it might be best to switch.

update on frosty tomatoes - pulled one but the others have recovered and doing well. Spotted the first embryonic tomato this week.
